The Vox AC30 is the definitive British jangle amplifier. Its EL84 output tubes and alnico speaker combination produce a chiming, harmonically rich tone that defined the British Invasion. The Edge of U2 runs his entire effects chain into an AC30's front end, and Brian May built his unique sustaining lead tone through these amps. The Top Boost channel adds presence and sparkle.
