About the Memory Man Delay

The Electro-Harmonix Memory Man was the first delay pedal to use BBD (Bucket Brigade Device) technology in 1976, making it the grandfather of analog delay. The Edge of U2 used Deluxe Memory Mans through the 1980s to create his signature dotted-eighth-note delay patterns on Where the Streets Have No Name. Its warm, slightly degraded repeats and chorus/vibrato modulation section create an unmistakably vintage character.
