About the GE-7 Equalizer
The Boss GE-7 is the most common graphic EQ pedal on guitar pedalboards. Its seven-band EQ covers 100Hz through 6.4kHz with ±15dB per band, giving you surgical control over your tone. Kurt Cobain used a GE-7 to sculpt his distortion. Used after a high-gain amp or distortion pedal, the GE-7 can fix scooped mid problems or add presence and cut. The level control lets it double as a clean boost.
