About the Fuzz Face Mini
The Fuzz Face is the fuzz circuit most associated with Jimi Hendrix — the germanium version (two PNP transistors in series) produces a warm, dynamic fuzz that cleans up beautifully when you roll back the guitar volume. David Gilmour also used Fuzz Faces on his early Floyd recordings. The Dunlop Mini versions are faithful recreations offering silicon (harder, more aggressive) and germanium (warmer, more vintage) options.
