About the Uni-Vibe Chorus/Vibrato
The Uni-Vibe recreates the sound of a rotating Leslie speaker cabinet through a four-stage photocell-based LFO circuit. Jimi Hendrix used an original Univibe on Machine Gun and his Woodstock Star Spangled Banner. Robin Trower's entire Bridge of Sighs album is drenched in Univibe-style modulation, and David Gilmour uses it for subtle, pulsing depth on leads. The chorus/vibrato switch changes between wet+dry and all-wet output.
