The most influential slide guitar recording in electric blues history — Elmore's aggressive, treble-forward tone through a small amp defined the Chicago electric slide style. How to Play It

Open E tuning with the slide on the ring or little finger — Elmore used heavy pressure with the slide, producing a percussive clang on the strings that added rhythmic energy beyond just the pitch slides.
