The 2002 album's most densely layered guitar track — John recorded dozens of guitar overdubs to create a wall-of-sound McCartney/Beach Boys-influenced texture. How to Play It

Overdubbing as composition — John treats each guitar layer as a separate voice in a choir, each playing a slightly different rhythmic or melodic figure. The rhythm section of the album is as much about the guitar textures as the drums and bass.
