Technique
How to Play It
Slow string bends with vibrato at the top of the bend — the blues phrasing here is about the space between notes as much as the notes themselves. Do not rush the licks.

Strat neck pickup into any amp at moderate crunch. An MXR Script Phase 90 (off for the clean parts) and a mild fuzz or overdrive covers this tone without spending on boutique germanium.
