Peter Green — Rig Network

The most famous Les Paul in British blues history. The treble (bridge) pickup was accidentally rewired with reversed polarity during a repair — when both pickups are selected simultaneously, the phase cancellation removes midrange energy and creates Green's signature hollow, vocal sound. Eric Clapton reportedly tried to buy it from him; Green refused. It later passed to Gary Moore, who used it extensively, then to Kirk Hammett of Metallica.

Green's primary amp for Fleetwood Mac's original blues period — the JTM45 uses KT66 output tubes and produces a warmer, more rounded character than the later Plexis. At moderate volume, it breaks up gently and responds well to picking dynamics, allowing the out-of-phase pickup combination to produce the full range from clean to driven.

British-built amp used alongside the Marshall — the Selmer's character was distinctly different, producing a cleaner and more transparent tone suited to cleaner blues passages.
